I just wanted to let everyone know that the USII.6 powerpoint exceeds what I can upload onto the blog. I’ve sent it out to all the lead teachers, so if you don’t have it please check with them. Sorry about that!

I spent a few minutes this morning updating the Portaportal. I’ve added links under each grade level. John Tyler’s TRT sent me a great link on webquests and treasure hunts where you can learn to design your own, or use any of the ones created by other teachers. Sarah also found some good sites, have your students check out Social Studies For Kids under Student Links. There are also several others, so don’t forget to check periodically for new links.
